Now that you need a good night's sleep more than ever, unfortunately, it's harder than ever to get. Finding the right sleep position isn't easy, since two favorites (stomach and back) aren’t the best choices during pregnancy. Here’s what you need to know about safe, comfortable sleep positions during pregnancy.
Sleeping on your stomach: This is okay until your baby bump makes it uncomfortable or impossible.
Sleeping on your back: It's recommended that pregnant women avoid sleeping on their backs during the second and third trimesters.
Sleeping on your sides: During the second and third trimesters, sleeping on either side is ideal.
And if you need extra support, get a pregnancy pillow! Those tend to be very popular for pregnant women who just can't get comfortable.
